To craft memorable memoir, our memories must "speak." We'll examine the difference between unconscious and pre-conscious memory and techniques to access these memories, review editing skills and discuss how to remain authentic to one's voice. (Dr. Rosen has taught at memoir writing and personal essay at Hunter College, Queens College, Macaulay Honors College, and City University of New York.
