BANDS - Middle-school band T.B.D to debut at Arcadia
MUSIC, FOOD ... NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS
T.B.D. (To Be Determined), three sixth graders with instruments they aren't afraid to use, makes its debut Friday night, 7 P.M. at Arcadia Coffee Co. (20 Arcadia Road, Old Greenwich).
T.B.D. is Kaitlin , Jack and Max . Jack (guitar) and Max (drums) met and first played together in grade school. Kaitlin (guitar and vocals) is a student who played in an earlier band with Max. Goofing around one afternoon in Max's den, they decided they sounded pretty good together and, with a little more practice, decided they might even sound good enough to let other people hear them.
"We love music," said Kaitlin, who has been studying voice and guitar for four years.
"Our inspiration is everything from the Beatles to Guns N Roses to Green Day," agreed Max.
"We're just a garage band but it's cool we're getting a chance to play in front of a bunch of people," said Jack, a three year student of guitar.
What does the band think their love of music might lead them? They figure that it's still T.B.D.
