JANE CONDON AND FRIENDS
Jane Condon, a Greenwich resident and mother of two teenage boys, has been called the "J. Crew Mother of Two" by the New York Daily News. She was also voted "one of the 10 standout standups worth watching" by Back Stage. Born in a blue-collar town in Massachusetts, Jane loves to comically compare her youth to her present day surroundings in Greenwich. Her two sons are also a source of comedic inspiration for her act. Jane has appeared on ABC TV "The View" and Lifetime TV's "Girls Night Out." Associated Press calls her "an upper-crust Roseanne." Jane will entertain with her comedy act at Arcadia Coffee Company, along with some comedian friends.
Jane Condon's stand-up comedy experience has hit all of the big name clubs in the New York area -- Gotham, Carolines, Stand-Up New York, Comic Strip, NY Improv, NY Comedy Club, Wisecrackers, Boston Comedy Club, and many more. She has been profiled on the "Today Show" on NBC TV and has performed for the former President Clinton and opened for Roberta Flack. In addition to her comedy act, she is an accomplished writer and has reported for Life and Fortune magazines and worked as a creative consultant for a Linda Bloodworth-Thomason pilot. She is also the author of the book A Half-Step Behind, Japanese Women Today. Jane Condon received her BA in Political Science from Wellesley College and her ED.M. in Children's Television from Harvard Graduate School
