Dear Readers -
What a busy fall! The season officially started on September 21 (which was, coincidentally, Jenny's birthday). But even before the official start, we were off and running!
Thank you all for coming out to see Anita Pratap as the hurricane threatened to blow our houses down - luckily we were snug inside a house of stone while she regaled us with her world adventures. Thank you also for leaping over tree barricades to hear Scott Berg as he held us spellbound with story after story of his long-time friendship with Katherine Hepburn. While we approach presstime for this newsletter, it's looking as though we'll have a rousing morning with Henry Kissinger and launch our whirlwind round of children's author signings.
While it's still very early fall, we're already having visions of sugar plums dance through our heads. Yes, the holiday season is nearly upon us and we are starting to plump up in preparation of a jolly season. There's a veritable smorgasboard of coffee table books pouring through our doors and we're starting to put together our Just Books Holiday Catalog.
In the meantime, we're doing our best to keep up with the onslaught of new and great books! See you in the stacks!
Jenny, Thomas, Thomas and Nicholas Lawton
