Marriott to tell us about her new book Pitching
My Tent: On Marriage, Motherhood, Friendship and Other Leaps
of Faith (Scribner; $24). Anita is an eloquent speaker

Pitching My Tent is a collection her essays collected
over the 20-year span of her career as a journalist. Anita
states that this collection turns out to be "sort of
a diary" and includes a wide range of topics under
the tent of marriage motherhood, friendship and the overall
meaning of life. Anita will be joined by Rebecca Jofferey,
talking about her book This Day: Diaries from American
Women which is a collection of diary entries of women
across the United States. Individually and collectively,
these diaries reveal what women love--and don't love!--about
their families, jobs, and lives. They illuminate common
threads, from the macro (too hectic lifestyles) to the micro
(craving chocolates).

Bush's brother is a Greenwich resident. This is a perfect
